We are a family who loves pengins (seriously, check out our Instagram, or look at the photo we took of our giant pengin playing on the playground). They’re great for hugging, calming you down, talking to or just plain having with you on adventures.
But when we looked around, we noticed something weird. No one else had a pengin to love, to carry around or to play with. This made us sad, because our pengins are so good at lifting you up when you feel down, sharing your joy and just living your life with you.
We decided there was only one thing to do: Establish a crusade devoted to making sure that everyone gets a pengin. That’s what this is all about. We source pengins from a variety of different places (grocery stores, gift shops, directly from the company) and give them out to people who don’t have one of their own. (Note: We will not be sending you a 3-foot tall pengin. Shipping alone … hoo boy.)
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the IRS, meaning any donations you give us are tax-deductible. We promise that we use every dollar we get to send more pengins.
So if you know someone who needs a penguin, let us know! Or, if you want to help, donations are always welcomed!
We took our 3-foot-tall pengin, Hoogerheide, to the park, in a van we rented just so he and the other large friends could have an adventure.
